Pench Wildlife Tour Package

Pench National Park is nestled on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. A total protected area of 1197 sq km across the two states provides shelter to more than 35 species of fauna and numerous species of flora. Pench National Park is also a tiger reserve, one of the biggest in the country. Tiger sighting is a common activity in the tiger reserve. Pench Weekend tour takes you across the heartlands of Pench Tiger Reserve, acquainting you to some of the most endangered species of animals in India like Bengal Tiger, Porcupine and Black Naped hare. The 3 day Pench Weekend tour will take you to the exotic locations inside the Pench National Park and Tiger Reserve.

After reaching Nagpur, the caravan would move to the Pench National Park where after checking in the hotels, we would go on a short safari across the Pench National Park. The next morning we would be back on the safari tour across the Pench National Park, spotting wild animals in their natural habitat. After an overnight stay at the resort, next morning we would leave for Nagpur to get onboard the flight to Mumbai. Reaching Mumbai would mark an end to 3 days Pench Weekend Tour.

Day 01 : Arrive Nagpur – Pench National Park
On arrival at Nagpur airport / railway station, our representative will meet & assist you for this adventures journey to Mowgli Land. It will take 02 hrs by road to reach the Tiger country Pench National Park. Upon arrival transfer to the wildlife resort. Evening we will explore the surrounding with a pleasant walking. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Pench National Park
Today will enter twice to the National Park on a open jeep to explore the Pench National Park. Overnight stay in Pench.

Named after the Pench River which flows through the park, Pench National Park is situated in the lower southern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is spread over an area of 750 sq. km & nestles in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura mountain ranges. In 1992 Government of India declared 757.89 sq km area of Pench as the 19th Tiger Reserve of India.

Day 03 : Pench – Kanha National Park
Today after our morning jeep safari to the national park, we will drive to Kanha National Park. On arrival check into the wildlife resort. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Departure - Nagpur
After enjoying a lavish breakfast, we will drive to Nagpur for onward journey.

How To Reach Pench

The Pench National park is well known Tiger Reserve placed near Nagpur and one of the most easily reachable wildlife parks in India. Situated at the southern borders of Madhya Pradesh and the northern borders of Maharashtra, this national park is visited by a large number of tourists and wildlife enthusiasts every year.

By Air
Pench National park is just 93 kms from The Sonegaon airport in Nagpur. Nagpur is well connected to other major cities by air route.

By Rail
The Seoni Railway Station is approximately 30 kms from the Pench National Park. It is the nearest Railway Station to Pench and it has regular frequency of trains running in and out, connecting the place to Mumbai and other major cities. Alternatively Nagpur is the best junction to reach from where you can get road transfers to Pench.

By Road
You can easily catch Buses from Nagpur bus stand to reach Pench National Park. Nagpur has a good network of Roadways and it well connected to all places in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. You can also hire taxis or other private rental cars and reach Pench via Nagpur- Jabalpur highway. If you are planning to take the bus from Nagpur, you will have to get down at Khwasa or Suktara and then travel ahead by private transport.

Though you can manage to reach Pench by local or private transport that you can get at Nagpur on arrival, it is always a good and safer option to get it pre-booked from a reliable tour operator especially considering the facts that Pench has multiple safari gates but few people are aware about every location in and out, it is forested area hence it is not safe to travel without proper resource and most importantly a reliable tour operator will have RTO registered and well maintained vehicles compared to fly-by-night agents.
